Meet the Team

Modern crafting for curious hands (and style-forward minds).

Make-Modern is a modern crafting and sewing studio built for people who love high-quality materials, well-designed projects, and the kind of creative confidence that only comes from making something with your own two hands.

Founded by friends with a passion for design and a deep respect for the art of making, we’re the opposite of your average glitter-and-glue setup. Every class, workshop, party, and camp is built around thoughtful curriculums, age-appropriate skill building, and elevated materials sourced from around the world.

Whether your 8 year old is learning to sew for the first time or you’re looking for a stylish “craft & sip” night out with friends, Make-Modern offers a joyful, pressure-free space to slow down, try something new, and make something you’re truly proud of.

Premium materials, sustainably sourced.

Make-Modern premium materials

We believe what you make is only as good as what you make it with. That’s why we source beautiful, natural materials from around the globe: wools from England, knits from Scotland, yarns from Japan, trims from India, and dyes from Morocco. Our students work with the same materials used by real textile artists—because quality should never be saved for later.
