Birthdays, moms' nights, milestone celebrations, graduation parties, showers, bachelorettes, or a Tuesday that needs an excuse — our at-home and off-site private events bring the full Make-Modern experience wherever you're gathering. You bring the people; we'll bring the materials, the instruction, and the setup.

For Kids: A hosted, hands-on party experience. Think of it as our in-studio birthday party, just brought to your backyard.

Faculty-Led Workshops

A stylish, self-serve station for your guests — a charm bar, an embroidery patch station, whatever fits your event — set up right where you're hosting. Guests wander over whenever they're ready, pick their favorite, and leave with something to show for it.

For Kids: Perfect for birthday parties, sleepovers, team gatherings, or just "the kids need something to do."

For Adults: A lovely, low-lift addition to a shower, bachelorette, milestone celebration, or girls' night.

 At-Home & Offsite Event FAQs

  • It's a Make-Modern experience delivered wherever you're gathering: your home, backyard, or a venue you've booked in Fairfield County, CT or the surrounding area. You choose a format (a pop-up table or a faculty-led workshop) for kids or adults, and we bring the materials, instruction, and setup.

  • A pop-up table is a self-serve station, like a charm bar or beading station, where guests drop by whenever they like and make something in about ten minutes. A faculty-led workshop is a seated, guided session where our instructors teach a full project to the whole group.

  • Yes. For kids ages 5+, choose a faculty-led workshop for a hosted, hands-on party, or add a pop-up table for guests to enjoy as they come and go. If you'd rather host at one of our studios, see our in-studio kids' birthday parties.

  • Yes! The adult faculty-led workshop is our Craft & Sip experience delivered to you. Expect about two hours, with roughly 60 minutes of hands-on project time and plenty of time to socialize. Craft & Sip events are BYOB, so you supply the drinks and we supply the project.

  • At-home or offsite faculty-led workshops are for groups of 12+. Pop-up tables can serve groups of any size.

  • No. Both formats are designed for beginners, with no skills required. Our faculty guide the workshops step by step, and a pop-up table is simply pick, watch, and wear!

  • Pop-up tables start at $625. Faculty-led workshops start at $825 and are priced depending on project selected and quantity of guests. Tell us the date, guest count, and location and we'll be happy to send a quote!
